Two-acre Elephant Park is London’s biggest new park in a century, part of the jumbo regeneration at Elephant & Castle, where 3,000 homes are being built in towers, mid-rise and low-rise blocks separated by courtyards and trees, with allotments for residents.

A new phase of 58 shared-ownership flats has been opened up to all London first-time buyers, not just those living in Southwark borough, from £156,250 for 25 per cent of a two-bedroom flat (full price £625,000).

Next year will see this Zone 1 district’s famous pink shopping centre turned into homes, shops and a new campus for University of Arts London.
